Primary Care and Family Medicine
Originally from Nigeria, Magdalene Oziwo graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Kennesaw State University. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University and her board certification from AANP. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing degree at Walden University.
“It has been my passion to take care of people,” says Oziwo. “It brings me joy to give back to the community.”
Oziwo can do just that as a family nurse practitioner. Previously, she spent more than six years as an RN in an acute care setting. Family medicine, however, remains in her passion.
Oziwo is a member of the Golden Key International Honors Society of Nursing and currently serves as a clinical preceptor for online nursing and nurse practitioner students at South University.
Mrs. Oziwo is married with five children and enjoys family time, music, and reading. In her spare time, she contributes to community service for her church by being an advocate for healthy living and lifestyle as well as organizing quarterly health fairs.
