A Georgia native, Lesley Cole earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, cum laude, at Georgia Highlands College and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in adult-geriatric primary care at the University of South Alabama.
Driven by her passion to help others, Cole began her nursing career as a certified nursing assistant at Accord Home Health. At Tanner Medical Center and WellStar Health Systems, she gained vast leadership skills working as a charge nurse and a medical surgical nurse manager, respectively. Cole completed a clinical rotation at Temple Medical Clinic where she established advanced nursing skills and collaborated with medical professionals.
“I have always cared for adults and the elderly,” says Cole. “I have learned so much from this patient population and enjoy creating trusting relationships with my patients. The fulfillment I receive from helping others and the challenging nature of the nursing field motivates me to be at the forefront of my field.”
A board-certified nurse practitioner, Cole is a DAISY Award recipient, which recognizes nurses for their extraordinary nursing care and dedication to patients. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13.
Cole enjoys gardening, exercising, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two Rottweilers.
